Working with the vendor we agree the best channel or channels for their specific vehicle types and at every step of the remarketing process an experienced member of our team will work with them to make sure everything is set up and runs smoothly.
Physical
Each one of our physical auctions taking place at our 10-acre Rotherham auction site is hybrid – that means as well as vehicles being available to inspect on site pre- auction and then being driven through the hall for physical buyers to bid on.
As well as the physical auctions we simultaneously open the same stock up to our nationwide network of online buyers.
Currently around one third of our stock is purchased by online buyers.
Live & Online
We offer a range of online auctions to suit individual vendor needs, all supported by high quality inspection and imaging services that bring vehicles to life online with buyers to help optimise the sale price.

Timed
Our timed auction is similar to our buy it now service except vehicles are only on sale for a restricted period of time which is pre-agreed with the vendor – this might be an hour, two hours or even 2-3 days.
A pre-agreed reserve is set with the vendor which is listed online, the buyer submitting the highest bid during that period of time is the new owner of the vehicle. Buy It Now
Vendors are continuously looking to convert vehicles into cash and our buy it now auction enables vehicles to be uploaded onto our website and made available to buy 24/7, often with a keen reserve to ensure a speedy sale.
Buyers have access to stock around the clock and often include vehicles that haven’t sold in the last physical auction but need selling quickly.
Offsite
We run a range of off-site online auctions for vendors who prefer to sell vehicles from their refurb centres, de-fleet centres or dealer forecourts. This helps as they are able to avoid stock then being transported which reduces logistics costs and reduces carbon emissions.
Good quality images are taken on site by MAG staff and are then uploaded onto our website complete with a detailed description of each vehicle. Alternatively, vendors can use our state-of-the-art Apraisell software to inspect the vehicle and take pictures before uploading them to our website for sale.
One of our highly experienced auctioneers sells the vehicles from a virtual rostrum to the highest bidder.
